On July 27, 2022, the D.Y. Patil Climate Action Lab (D-CAL) hosted the Panerai Ocean Conservation Initiative at the Centre of Excellence. This event was part of a global campaign launched by Panerai in partnership with the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission of UNESCO (IOC–UNESCO) to promote ocean literacy and sustainable practices among students and young professionals.
