Patil Climate Action Lab (D-CAL), a dedicated initiative aimed at fostering environmental awareness and action among students and the broader community. About D-CAL
D-CAL is a community within D.Y. Patil University committed to combating climate change by romoting information sharing and actionable initiatives. The lab is spearheaded by Ms. Rajlakshmi Patil, a 19-year-old geography student at University College London and a passionate environmentalist with a history of organizing environmental activities in India and Switzerland. Her notable contributions include a successful Mangrove Cleanliness Drive in 2019 and the founding of the Charity Soccer League in 2018 to support pediatric healthcare.(Dcal, India Today)
